We represent one of the largest catalogues of Norwegian recorded music, primarily recorded from 1972-2008. There are appx 5000 titles in the catalogue, and appx 335 albums. And growing.

The Talent name has its roots from 1972, when the company Talent Produksjon, with its matching label was launched by Arve Sigvaldsen. Three years later, Talent Studio opened in Oslo, and soon became known as one of the worlds premiere recording studios, attracting an international clientele, with German jazz label ECM as one of its primary fans.

Among the recordings are successful 70s-series like TREFF (hits), COUNTRYFEST (leading Norwegians countryartsists) and FREM FRA GLEMSELEN (ancient folk songs) along with a great catalogue of Norwegian folk and traditional music

Chief engineer Jan Erik Kongshaug today owns and runs one of the world's best recording studios: Rainbow studio, Oslo, and Arve Sigvaldsen has specialized in digitazing, remastering and mastering. Besides remastering and uploading this catalogue, he works close with companies like Warner Music Norway (prev. EMI), having remastered digitally 160 albums till now.

Today, the catalogue is available through all major channels for streaming and download, whereas the original master tapes are being kept by the National Library, as the cultural heritage it undoubtedly represents.
