Det var en gang”, is a collection of songs for children, with a
jazztouch.. Quite a few of them composed by Margrethe Munthe. Many of these
songs are based on traditional Norwegian folktunes. Some of them have Egil
Kapstad piano, Terje Venaas bass and Svein Christiansen drums , others are
with John Surman on keyboard,synth and other effects. Krog sings these songs
with simplicity and warmth.
