When I was young
The colours were bright

Now, I live my life
In black and white
Cause I’d rather feel safe
Than risk loosing the fight
Against time - Against my soul
‘cause I’m not in the habit of loosing control

Under water
Breathing on the inside
Under water
Facing the sky
Under water
A safe place to hide
Waiting for another
Day to go by

I’ve fallen off my cloud
out of innocence
I’m a face in the crowd
A victim of circumstance
It’s easy to be
Just like me
‘cause I turn off the light
that forces me to see
who I am and what I know
‘cause I’m not in the habit of letting It show
